218,729. Georgevitch, N. April 9, 1923. Addition to 201,124. Percussive hand tools.-In a hammering tool of the kind claimed in the parent Specification the weights are forced inwards by a curved arm 12 pivoted at 13 and engaging at its other end 14 with a slot 15 in a plate 11 which can be adjusted about the central spindle to alter the distance between the arm 12 and the toolholder 21. Rods 16 traversing the weights carry rollers 17 which engage with the arm 12. To stop the hammering action the toolholder 21 is moved downwards by means of a handle 33, lever 34, and bolt 36, whereupon a similar bolt 22 is free to descend and withdraws its support from a double lever 26 which normally holds the arm 12 in its projected position. The handle 30 is provided with a two-hand grip 31 fixed by a through bolt.
