Circular-saw machines.-A saw or other woodcutting tool 38 is mounted together with its driving pulley 37 at the end of a rod 29 which projects from a carriage 25 running on bars 22 mounted on a rotatable post 14 adjustable in a socket 13. The carriage supports a motor 27 with a driving pulley, and the rod 29 slides through a bush at the top of the post. The saw spindle is mounted on the rod 29 by means of two collars connected by bolts 34 working in slots, so as to allow an angular adjustment.
