Abstract
217,604. Veraart, A. W. June 14, 1923, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Act]. Cabins.-Passengers and goods on aircraft are carried in hermetically closed spaces which are partially exhausted of air during flight so that the leaded lateral and underneath walls are reinforced by the external air pressure and may consequently be made lighter. To reinforce the floor when alighting on water the air pressure in the spaces may be raised. Excess pressure may also be introduced when flying without load.
