Abstract

217,512. Barnes, K. E. Dec. 15, 1923. Boats adapted to run on land have the land wheels located in recesses h arranged in the bottom of the boat. The wheels which may be geared to the same motor as that which drives the propeller, may be arranged so that they protrude from recess to a variable extent. The rudder carries a wheel which can be used for steering purposes when the boat is running on land.
