Clutches, claw; securing pulleys &c. on shafts. -In power presses for stamping, pressing, &c. sheet metal and other material, power is conveyed from the driving-wheel or pulley a to the automatic clutch (not shown) by a shock-absorbing device comprising springs g bearing on adjusting-plugs f and the heads d of bolts e, which thrust against lugs c on a collar b. The collar b is received in a recess of the wheel a and is connected to the crank-shaft through the clutch.
