Abstract

The disintegrator comprises a milling chamber (4) wherein rotors (17) are arranged for the treatment of a material. With the milling chamber (4) a separator (6) is connected through a sleeve (5). In the separator (6) there are mounted separating plates (11). Each of the plates (11) is butt-jointed to the lateral walls (13) of the separator (6) casing by means of ribs, thereby forming two chambers (15, 16) disposed one under the other. The upper chamber (15) is connected with the sleeve (7) for discharging the fine fraction, whilst the lower chamber (16) is connected with the sleeve (9) for discharging the coarse fraction into the milling chamber (4).
