Abstract

PURPOSE: To carry out exactly magnetic separation independently of the shape of waste by compressing the waste to form a plate and supplying the plate to the upper part of an inclined plate possessing magnetic force.
CONSTITUTION: Waste is crushed and treated by a magnetic separation, and then thrown into a vibration screen 2 from a supply inlet 1 to remove incombustible materials such as glass, tile, etc. The resulting waste is supplied to a compressor 3 to flattern cut in the form of plate by means of compression conveyors 4. The waste obtained is supplied to an inclined plate 8 possessing magnetic force, and slides down the inclined plate, whereby non-ferrous materials are separated. Each of separated materials is withdrawn separately by means of carrying out-conveyor 9, 10.
