Abstract
A garment, such as a panty (1), includes a housing (3) for receiving bag (4) containing material which generates heat as a result of a reaction between a powdery or granular product and the atmosphere. The housing may be lined with insulating material to spread the heat, or it may enable direct contact between the body and the bag. <IMAGE>
Description
SPECIFICATION
Garment
This invention relates to a panty or similar garment, provided with a receptacle for inserting a thermal bag of the type which houses a granular or powdery product which reacts to the outside temperture, generating heat.
The advantages which this invention provides are practically innumerable, within the order of application characteristic of it, as it is possible to apply heat for approximately 24 hours to any suitable point (e.g. covered by the panty), without a limiting nature, such as for example the stomach area.
These and other additional advantages will be apparent from the following description of a preferred embodiment of the invention. The description will be given with regard to the attached schematic drawing which shows a garment in the form of a panty by way of an example only of an embodiment of the invention.
Referring to the attached drawing, at any suitable point, such as the stomach area for example, the panty (1) has a housing (3) with an inlet (2) which can be opened and closed as wished, either through a self-adhesive strip, a zip, buttons, etc.
etc., through which a thermal bag (4) is inserted for location inside the housing. This bag is of the type containing a temperature generating material comprising a powdery or granular product which reacts to the effect of the outside atmosphere.
The inside of the housing may be lined with a material such as plastic foam or the like, which contributes towards spreading the heat provided by the aforementioned thermal bag evenly.
Basides the panty mentioned above, the invention can be applied to any other garment, especially one in direct contact with the human body, and further embodiment or variations of the invention are possible within the scope of the following
Claims (4)
1. A garment for human use with a housing for a thermal bag containing a granular or powdery products which generates heat on reacting with the outside atmosphere, characterized in that the said garment is provided with a housing in a suitable point of its surface, the housing having an inlet which can be closed and opened, and through which the thermal bag is inserted.
2. A garment according to claim 1, characterized in that said housing is optionally provided with a total or partial lining made of a material such as plastic foam or the like which is suitable for evenly spreading the heat generated by the thermal bag.
3. A garment, according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the housing for said thermal bag is located in a place in the garment itself which is in direct contact with the body, in order to take maximum advantage of its thermal qualities.
4. A garment substantially as herein described with reference to the accompanying drawing.
