Abstract
214,946. Schweiz Gl³hlampenfabrik Akt.-Ges. April 24, 1923, [Convention date]. Addition to 209,050. Protective arrangements.- In an electric protective arrangement, having electrodes of the kind described in the parent Specification, the electrically connected electrodes d<1>, d<2> are mounted in a glass foot e<1> and the electrically connected electrodes g<1>, g<2>, g<3> are mounted in a glass foot e<2>. The small variations in the quality of the electrodes, and the slight variations in the gaps between them are sufficient to cause the resistance of the various gaps to vary to a small extent and thus four gaps are provided which come into operation successively when a previous gap becomes faulty.
