Abstract

213,314. Beatty, W. G. Nov. 29, 1922. Wringers, pressure and roller - separating arrangements for. - Springs 17, adjusting screws 19 and pressure plates 18 therefor and pins 21, which press on the bearing blocks 7 of the upper roller spindle 6, are mounted in frames 9 at each end of the roller, the frames being pivoted at 11 to the main frame of the wringer. The frames are maintained in the vertical, or pressure - applying position by means of arms 12 thereon coacting with an inverted U-shaped member 14, pivoted to the wringer frame at 15 and moved into or out of contact with the arms by a handle, not shown.
