Telescopic and expanding bedsteads convertible into seats &c.-The movable frame B of an expanding bedstead or settee or the like is locked to the fixed frame A in the extended position by clip C, which is pivoted to the movable member, and rests upon the bracket H carrying the frame A and has a hook end G which engages the lower edge of the end of the frame A. Hinged legs support the outer edge of the movable frame B and are folded in to the angle iron sides of the frame when not in use.
