Lubricating-cans.-An electric lamp 6 mounted on the spout of a lubricating-can 1 is connected to its battery 2 through a spring-pressed terminal 12 slidable in a casing 18 held in a clip 8 secured on the spout by a bolt 10. One end of the terminal 12 is pressed against the lamp by a spring 20 acting between the end 19 of the casing 18 and a collar 17 on the terminal, while the other end is connected to the battery by a lead 13. Insulating material 9 is disposed between the clip 8 and the spout. A combined reflectar 14 and lamp-holder 15 is secured to the spout by an extension 16 soldered to the spout. The outer metal case of the dry battery, which is provided with a switch 4, is soldered or sweated to the side of the can.
