Sheet metal, beaded edges of. - The upper or lower edges of metal containers such as bins, tanks, drums, buckets, tubs, &c., are provided with edgings applied by placing over the edge of the container the rolled part A, Fig. 1, of an annular strip A', and then bending back or outwardly the rolled part and the edge B of the container together as shown in Fig. 2, the parts becoming keyed together and requiring no further fastening. The edges of lids may be similarly treated.
