Abstract

209,522. Baker, P. W. Oct. 30, 1922. Thermal interrupters.- Thermal flashers, adapted to be fitted to electric lamp-holders are provided with an insulated screw 20 or like means whereby the flash period of the device may be easily varied while the lamp is alight. The screw 20 bears against a fibre strip 19 connected to a substantially rigid conducting strip 17 and the circuit for the flasher is from a spring contact 6 through the strip 17, contacts 18 and a bimetallic strip 12, to a heating coil of fine wire 14, circuit being made and broken at the contacts 18.
