Abstract

209,185. Tihange, V. E. Oct. 4, 1922. Crowbars.-A pinch-bar for moving wagons on rails is formed of a lever a made of cast or forged metal integral with a curved shoe b and fitted with a prismatic knife-edge member c. The member c is formed of hard metal, and is preferably detachable. and arranged so that when one edge is worn out it may be replaced by another edge by turning the member c. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 14302/92, 1141/98, and 18624/01, [all in Class 103, Railway &c. vehicles].
