Abstract

Cylinders and like elements, rotating; actuating.-Mounted behind a flat screen 3 which may bear a design advertisement or other matter is a coloured cylinder carrying marks 16 and rotated by hot air convection currents set up by a lamp 10. The cylinder may be removed through a hinged door 14 in the casing 1. The colouring is arranged on the cylinder in wide vertical bands so that when desired the cylinder may be fixed and the screen 3 illuminated in one colour only. To fix the cylinder, teeth (not shown) on its upper edge are engaged by a finger inserted through the side of the casing. Above the casing may be fitted a louvre ventilator surrounded, if preferred, by a cowl.
