Joints with yielding inner part expanded.-A flexible pipe is rendered substantially non-expansible at ordinary working pressures, by expanding it under high internal pressure and, while expanded, placing a flexible non-compressible lining within it. The end of the tube is stopped by a cap 30 and nipple 26 secured to a sleeve 25 fitted over the end of the tube.
