Trawling-gear.-A trawl net is provided with a cable 6 carrying the cod-end of the net and secured to the otter boards 1, between which there is stretched a cable 2 which limits the distance between the boards; the net located between the sides of the triangle formed by the cables 6, 2, is subject to low tensions only and consequently is easily lifted by floats 8 secured to the headline 7. The floats are attached to the towing cables 4 by ropes 9.
