Spring devices; heads. - The front fork is formed of two pairs of straight tubes A, B mounted independently upon the wheel spindle J and connected at their upper ends by a pair of links C. The tubes B ,are pivoted at their upper ends to a steering-head of ordinary construction or to a head comprising a tubular portion D rotatable about a fixed bar F forming part of a frame of straight tubes without brazed joints. The tubes A are interconnected at their upper ends and are connected to the upper end of the steering-head D by means of one or two involute or other springs L.
