Abstract

170,492. Fabry, R. F. F. Oct. 21, 1920. Side-car attachments.-A side-car chassis comprises a pair of springs A, B carried by a transverse bar C on the side-car body, the rear ends of the springs being connected to the axle F while the front end of the spring A rests on a tube K secured to the body. The tube K is connected by a shackle N to a tube M rigidly secured to the frame of the cycle, the ends of the shackle being forked and rotatably mounted on the tubes M. K. The ends of the shackle are prevented from moving transversely bv clips secured to the tubes M, K, and the tube M is stayed by rods O connected to the clips P on the tube and to lugs on the frame of the cycle. The rear axle F is rigidly secured to the cycle and is stayed by rods O.
