204,689. Ferrostaal Ges. Sept. 30, 1922, [Convention date]. Roller bearings, for the axles of railway and other vehicles, have a casing 1 with four journals 2 - - 5, disposed at angles of 90‹ with each other, so that periodically the casing mav be rotated through 90‹ to equalize wear. Each journal 2 - - 5 has a spherical end face; the upper journal 2 carries the load and the side journals 3, 5 are guided loosely in holes 7 so that the axle can adjust itself in any direction.
