Abstract

Ventilators. - A device for directing the draught upwards when the bottom sash of a window is raised comprises a sheet of glass 3 held in a position parallel to the sash by a pair of grooved brackets 1, 2, having their lower parts resting on or secured to the window - sill 4. As shown in Fig. 3, the device may be made adjustable to fit windows of different width by substituting for the plain sheet 3 two overlapping sheets 7, 8, the latter of which is supported on a grooved horizontal extension 9 of the bracket 5 holding the sheet 7.
