Plug cocks. - A decompression and priming valve for internalcombustion engines s comprises a body a with a conical upper end c and an offset passage d, and a member e fitting the part c and formed with a priming cup f and a hole g adapted to register with the passage d. The member e is held on its seat by means of a nut l and a spring j; when the valve is closed, the spring j is fully compressed and the member e held tightly on its seat. The movement of the nut may be limited by a pin m engaging a slot in the nut. The member e may be fitted with a handle h.
