202,239. Hetherington & Sons, Ltd., J., and Horridge, J. May 11, 1922. Combing-machines.-The intermittent movement of the feed-roller 11 is obtained from a crank 4 driven from the comb-shaft 1 by gears 2, 3. The connection to the usual ratchet and pawl device is through a link 5, arms 6, 8 on a rock-shaft 7, a link 9, and the lever 10. The time of the feed is adjusted by altering the relative positions of the gears 2. and 3, and the amount of the feed by adjusting the point of connection of the link 5 and the arm 6.
