Abstract
A cable support installation comprises preferably I-shaped profiled supports arranged vertically with a certain spacing one behind the other and in the longitudinal direction of the cables, as well as a plurality of carrier arms fixed to the supports and protruding horizontally sidewise, the supports presenting on one side or on both sides retaining plates which may be secured to their ends. In order to obtain a design which resists to earthquakes, particularly for a utilisation in nuclear plants, at least two adjacent carriers (1) are braced to form an elementary rigid cell of the support construction and the retainer plates (4) are made so as to be secured by interleaving multidirectional effect spring elements (6) and similar effect damping elements (6), the damper and spring elements (6) being allowed to operate at least in a range from 268<o>K to 470<o>K and the supports (6) having at 473<o>K a bearing force of about 5 kp/cm<2> (about 0.5 N/mm<2>).
