Abstract
In a process for the demagnetisation and mutual separation of a magnet plate and ferromagnetic objects e.g. workpieces, adhering thereto, the winding (1) of the magnet plate is fed with an alternating current of variable frequency. The frequency may be determined by an impulse generator (7) of which the output frequency increases as a function of time. A frequency in the range from 2 to several hundred Hz is necessary to effect the separation of the workpieces from the plate and the circuit of the generator and switching arrangement is described in detail (Figs 3-5) <IMAGE>
