Abstract

Known pump driven diesel engine governors have a full load fuel limiting cam 3 moved by the governor and engaged by a feeler 113 to limit movement of a regulator rod 1. These known governors are suitable only for arrangements in which governor control movement is away from an associated injection pump. A governor 190 in which, on an increase of rotational speed, an adjusting pin 17 moves in the direction of the injection pump has a regulating rod 1 connected to the pump and moved through a spring 103 in the direction of increased delivery and positively in the direction of zero delivery by an upper point 102 of a vertical two- armed lever 16, pivoted at a central point 161 which is displaceable by means of an operating lever 15. A bottom articulation point of the lever 16 is arranged on the adjusting pin 17. A stop lever 11 with a stop 113, which is pivoted to the regulating rod 1, co-operates with a rotatably mounted cam disk 3 connected via means 31; 32; 33; 321 to a pivoting lever 14 supported by a bearing traverse 60 which co-operates with a sliding guide 141 for a driver 171 of the control pin 17. <IMAGE>
