Abstract

Ring runner for a spinning or yarn ring with a preferably vertical annular flange, which runner is moulded from wear-resistant material, possesses a main abutment zone and a thread passage zone and has a cross-section with a circular circumference in the thread passage zone, characterized in that the ring runner (12) is constructed as a straight profiled bar in the thread passage zone (15), whereby the profiled bar is so bent at both ends of the thread passage zone (15), that one end points towards the main abutment zone (14) located on the inside of the ring (11) and the other end points towards an abutment zone (16) or auxiliary abutment zone which is located on the top or the outside of the ring. <IMAGE>
