Abstract

Apparatus for treating trees with tall standards against disease or parasites, comprises a mobile chassis (1), a stand (5) having a base and being mounted on the chassis so as to be tiltable relative to the chassis about an in use horizontal axis, and a nozzle support (7, 16, 19) mounted on the stand for angular movement about a first vertical axis and a second horizontal axis, the nozzle support comprising first (7), second (16), and third (19) parts, the first (7) and second (16) parts being slidable relative to each other and the second (16) and third parts (19) being pivotable relative to each other. The arrangement is such that the nozzle support is movable between a compact transporting position in it which extends in a substantially horizontal direction and an operating position in which it is extended and defines an adjustable angle with the horizontal. <IMAGE>
