201,501. Guterman, P. Feb. 3, 1923. Tyre and like inflating and deflating valves.- A lifebelt of the type described in Specification 18406/96, [Class 77, Life-saving &c.], has separate check and release valves 9, 10, Fig. 1, for each float and inflatable pads 15 in the belt for the purpose of holding the belt in position on the wearer. A mouth-piece 6 connects with a common pipe 8 and has a separate check valve 16. The valves 13, Fig. 5, screw down on to conical seatings 12. A gauze 11<a> keeps out dirt. The check valves 9, Fig. 4, consist of a disc 17 held against a seat 18 by the pressure in the floats. A ring 19 with an irregular inner edge 20 retains the disc in position.
