Abstract

A device for the adjustment of a vehicle seat, the device comprising a wedge-shaped intermediate member 6 having on each side of the seat a U-section lower wedge rail 2 engaging with a U-section stationary floor rail 1, and a U-section upper wedge rail 4 engaging with a U-section seat rail 5. The intermediate member 6 is lockable relative to the vehicle floor, and the vehicle seat is lockable relative to the intermediate member 6. The outer arms of the seat rail 5 and of the floor rail 1 extend beyond the length of the associated inner arm, and are bent at right angles to form a base 14 with a track for the wedge rails. <IMAGE>
