Abstract

The track is particularly for the adjustment of vehicles seats, and comprises a lower U-section (1) fixed to the body work and receiving an inverted U-section fixed to the seat. Relative sliding between the sections is eased by a series of balls. The edges of the two vertical arms (5) of one (1) of the setions are bent over inwards through 180 deg. and those of the other section (2) are bent over outwards through the same angle. Thus the edges (11) of the lower section fit inside the edges (7) of the other section (2). Races can be formed for the balls (3) in the lower portion, while the faces of the upper portion which bear against them can be inclined so as to thrust the balls outwards.
