Abstract

In a projection television tube the spherically curved phosphor screen 20 and mirror 18 are mounted concentrically by the provision at the end of the cylindrical envelope wall 12 of a concentrically shaped sealing edge 22. The screen may be mounted separately from the faceplate 11 (Figs. 15 to 17, not shown), which may be plane. The tube has an associated optical convecting lens 33. <IMAGE>
