Abstract
PURPOSE: To cool the fluorescent face thus to increase the output light, by inclining the fluorescent face and projecting screen of cathode ray tube where the fluorescent face is inclined against the tube axis against the optical axis of projecting lens.
CONSTITUTION: The electron beam 16 from the electron beam 16 in the glass valve 11 is scanned by means of deflecting coil 15 and irradiates the fluor scenteface 12 inclined against the electron beam 16. The fluorescent face 12 is provided on one face of ground metal 17. The picture image is taken out from the window 18 made in the side wall of cathode ray tube and projected by means of projecting lenz 19 on the screen 21. The fluorescent face 20 and screen 21 are located while inclining the optical axis 2 of projecting lenz 19. Since the outside face of ground metal 17 can be cooled, the temperature rise of fluorescent face is prevented thus the deterioration is prevented to increase the output light. The trapezoidal distorsion of the picture image can also be eliminated.
