Abstract

A heat-insulated pivoted sash window in particular of the centre- hung sash window type or vertical pivot-hung sash window type in which a heat insulated intermediate profile 4 is fitted to the window frame 1 on one side of the sash bearing 6 and is fitted to the sash 2 on the other side of the sash bearing. A central seal 9 is provided which is anchored on the one side of the bearing, between the outer profile 2' and the inner profile 2'' of the sash and, on the other side of the bearing is anchored between the outer profile 1' and inner profile 1'' of the window frame 1. In the closed state of the window the central seal 9 inter-acts with an insulating profile 5 which is part of the intermediate profile 4. <IMAGE>
