Abstract

In a container for powdered or liquid material which has a closure cap 5 with discharge openings 11 in the top which register with the rim of the container neck 2, and mutually co- operating stops on the cap and the neck, which limit relative rotation of the cap and neck between a closed position wherein the rim of the neck blocks communication between the neck opening and the openings in the top of the cap, and an open position wherein a gap between the rim and the top of the cap enables the contents of the container to be discharged, a multi-start screw thread 7 on the cap 5 engages a screw thread 3 on the neck 2, axially extending radial projections 4 forming the stops on the neck, received by recesses 8 in the cap. <IMAGE>
