Abstract

The screw-thread closure device with originality safeguard for containers, in particular bottles, in which tear-off segments (11) with spring tabs (13) facing away from the closing direction are brought into engagement with sawtooth-type cams (3), facing in the closing direction, on the container neck (1) in such a way that they tear off during the initial opening of the closure. These tear-off segments (11) and their attachments are located within the screw cap (5), with which they form a common processible unit and are completely covered by the bulging edge (6) of the screw cap (5).
