Distribution - boards; fuse-boards. - In pillarunit distribution apparatus of the kind comprising a pillar frame for the fuse or other fittings and a separate sealing box for the incoming cables, as described in Specification 6117/15, the construction of the box is modified to permit of the introduction of a plurality of distributors thereto and for their connection to the fuse or other fittings on the frame. As shown in Figs. 1 and 2 applied to a pair c, c of two conductor distributors each passing through a separate aperture in the bottom of the sealing box a, the two positive conductors x are taken out of the box at or near the top thereof for connection to the fuses on the frame. The two negative conductors d are connected each to terminals f which pass through a gland g and serve also to secure a pair of U-shaped connecting pieces h to the gland. These pieces h are connected by links m to a T- shaped bridge o, u constituting a bus-bar, provided with a terminal wand secured to the frame by a screw and nut t located inside the box. The application of the invention to three two-conductor cables is described in which a third link located between and in staggered relation to the two links m of Fig. 2 is employed.
