Abstract

A form (1) for use in the production of reinforced concrete pipes is provided with spacers (2) which are adjustable between a retracted position wherein such spacers are remote from the reinforcement (14) and an extended position wherein they engage such reinforcement thereby positively to locate the same in relation to the form, the spacers being aligned with and movable through respective apertures (4) in the form (1). The spacers are retracted from the mould as the vibrated or space concrete reaches toward their positions. <IMAGE>
