Abstract

A diaphragm piston for pressure fluid actuated motors, e.g. brake cylinders has a flexible diaphragm (7) and a rigid backing disc (8) provided with an endless edge beading (13) made of an elastically deformable material extending over its outer circumference. The beading is intended to prolong the life of the diaphragm and may include internal or external ribs or an axially extending skirt for providing additional support for the diaphragm. <IMAGE>
