Abstract

The fuel supply pressure pipe 19 is subjected to the pressure of an auxiliary pressure source, the fuel tank 34, by a pressure compensating device 41, 42. The system operates by measuring by means of plate 15 the flow of combustion air and adjusting the quantity of fuel injected accordingly by adjusting a control valve 14 the system including a cold start device 14 independently operable of the normal injection device 11. A fuel pressure accumulator 37 is provided to compensate pressure losses due to leaks in the pipe system. <IMAGE>
