Abstract

PURPOSE: To decrease the fuel consumption of an engine, by arranging a plurality of fuel valves for performing an injection of proper amount in accordance with a fuel injection pressure at every cylinder of the engine and selectively operating the fuel valve corresponding to the pressure.
CONSTITUTION: In a cylinder 7 of an engine a plurality of fuel valves 6aW6c that perform an optimum fuel injection in accordance with an injection pressure are provided. Each of the valves 6aW6c is connected to a fuel pump 1 through each of fuel injection pipes 3aW3c, 5aW5c, and on its route line each of pressure control valves 4aW4c is interposed. Then the control valves 4aW4c detect injection pressures to operate the fuel valve corresponding to the then pressure.
