Abstract

A crockery container (13), which is insertable at either of two positions one above the other into a dish washing machine (10), has spray means (17) rotatably disposed under the container (13 and a pipe (18) preferably on the floor of the container (13) to feed washing liquid to the spray means (17). The pipe 18 has an end remote from the spray means (17) which when the container (13) is pushed into the machine 10, forms a plug coupling (19) with a duct (20). This end of the pipe (18) is connected to a pipe (21), preferably of S-shape, which is pivotable at one end through 180 DEG about an axis extending approximately horizontally through pipe (18), its other end (23) being connected to the duct (20). Pivoting of the pipe (21) enables liquid to be fed from the duct (20) to the spray means (17), when the container (13) is at either position, with the use of a single plug coupling. <IMAGE>
