Abstract

A photoconductive element is formed by the interposition of a semiconducting layer between a photoconductive layer and a conducting base member. The element is able to transfer an electrostatic image to a dielectric member with reduced image degradation. Preferred semiconductors are carbon black dispersed in rubber or epoxy resin or 30% cadmium sulphide in epoxy resin.
