Abstract

Reinforced concrete.-In a ferro-concrete structure, one or more reinforcing-rods b, Fig. 2, are joined by autogenous welding to a metal plate c, which may have an extension d forming a bracket. The plate c may be parallel to the rods b or at any angle thereto. In the modification shown in Fig. 3, the rods b are autogenously welded to othet reinforcing-rods e, which are also welded to a plate f adapted to be secured to a plate h welded to the reinforcing-rod of a column g.
