Abstract

198,903. Williamson, G. E., and Brown, A. C. May 30, 1922. Fuel containers comprise inner and outer vessels 1, 2, having in the intervening space a layer 3 of rubber, and a layer 4 of asbestos. Pipes 6, 7 and a safety valve 8 are welded to the inner vessel or secured in threaded holes by inner and outer nuts. The end-plate 5 of the outer vessel is bolted to a flange 13, or a cupped end-plate is bolted to an unflanged body.
