Abstract

198,821. Hussey, F. J. March 20, 1922. Handles with clamping-devices for brushes; pivoted handles.-A handle and holder for brush and like heads, particularly stock and paint brushes comprises a split socket E in which the handle is fixed, and in the end of which a clip C is pivoted so as to be adjustable by a bolt and wing nut B, a friction washer D being provided. The arms of the clip C are bent as shown, and the ends are perforated for a bolt A. The bent end of the upper arm of the clip and the bolt A are passed through the hole in a stock brush which is then clamped in the clip by the wing nut. A U-shaped clip F is provided for clamping a paint or panel brush to the clip by means of the screw G.
