198,045. Harris, F. H., and Burt Bros., Ltd. Feb. 23, 1922. Pivoting adjustments.-In displaying devices comprising arms or members 7 pivoted to a supporting member 2, the arms the arms are retained in various angular positions by a sliding sleeve 1 having a Lip 40 normally pressed into engagement with a toothed segment 10 by a coil spring 4 located within the sleeve 1 and abutting against an internal shoulder 5 on the sleeve, at one end, and an external shoulder 3 on the member upon which the sleeve is mounted, at the other end. The sleeve 1 may be mounted upon a socket member 23 adapted to receive various forms of telescopic &c. standards 28.
