196,856. Matteis, A. de. Aug. 29. 1922. Grilling-stoves. - Slices of bread are moved through a heating compartment on an endless chain provided with pins for engaging the slices. A receiving hopper 26 is provided, and the chain has lugs 46, Fig. 6, which guide the slices to the pins 48. Stationary guide wires 80 prevent the slices falling sideways, and are at one end secured to springs to allow for change in length. The conveyer is driven at a slow speed by a motor 72. Toasted slices fall into a chamber 15.
