Abstract

Road-vehicle signals; semaphore signals; bell signals.- A direction indicator comprises a pointer 11 on a shaft 13 rotated by a torsional spring 12 upon depression of the actuating rod 3, which by means of a projection 18 thereon releases a catch 20 normally holding a pivoted half disc 24 attached bv a cord 16 to an elbow 15 on the shaft 13. The actuating-rod also operates through a link 6 a bell 9, which may be sounded independently by only partially depressing the actuating rod. The pointer is returned to normal position by means of an arm 22 attached to the half disc 24.
